Commercial cleaning software for contract accounts, crews and monthly billing

A janitorial business is a set of contracts, each with a cadence, a crew, a square footage and an invoice on the first of the month. TradesBackbone runs it that way: the cleaning pack carries the commercial categories and the contract fields, recurring programs create the visits, crews own the route, and batch invoicing bills the month in one pass.

The Cleaning pack is pre-selected when you start from this page.

How a commercial cleaning shop runs on TradesBackbone

5 workflows your crews and your office share on one record. Everything below exists today.

Contract accounts that generate their own visits

Pro and up

Put an account on a Weekly, Bi-Weekly or Monthly program with its price and route day, and the visits are generated as they come due. Cleanings per Week and Contract Term (months) sit on the account record. The Recurring Revenue Report shows the contracted book.

Crews on a route, ordered by drive time

Pro and up

Assign a crew to each night's route and let route order propose the sequence with drive time per leg. The Daily Route Sheet prints what each crew is doing; the crew's phone shows the same order.

Bid worksheet and square footage on the account

The cleaning pack seeds Commercial, Commercial Floorcare, Commercial Staffing and Add-Ons categories and gives you the Commercial Bid Worksheet report. Square Footage and Entry Method live on the account so the bid and the night crew read the same numbers.

Bill the month in one pass

At month end, batch invoicing lists every completed, uninvoiced visit — filter by account or program — and creates and sends the invoices together, each with a card or ACH payment link. Overdue reminders send automatically, and a card on file makes the recurring payment routine.

Walkthrough checklist and photos, every visit

Crews complete the Cleaning walkthrough checklist on the phone and attach photos to the visit. When the facility manager asks about Tuesday night, the answer is on the account. Your Bonded & Insured policy number sits on the compliance screen.

Commercial Cleaning questions, answered

Straight answers about how TradesBackbone runs a commercial cleaning business.

Can TradesBackbone bill commercial cleaning contracts monthly?+

Yes. Recurring programs carry the account's price, and at month end batch invoicing lists every completed, uninvoiced visit, filtered by account or program, and creates and sends the invoices in one pass, each with a card or ACH payment link. Accounts can keep a card on file and overdue invoices get automatic reminders.

Does it schedule a nightly or weekly janitorial route?+

On Pro and Elite, a recurring program on the account carries the cadence (Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Monthly, One-Time), price and route day, and visits are generated when due. Crews are assigned per day and route order proposes the sequence with drive time per leg.

Where do square footage and contract term go?+

On the account. The cleaning pack adds Square Footage, Entry Method, Cleanings per Week and Contract Term (months) fields to every customer record. They are custom fields you can extend.

Is there a bid worksheet for commercial jobs?+

Yes. The Commercial Bid Worksheet is one of the cleaning pack's report templates, and the price book is seeded with Commercial, Commercial Floorcare, Commercial Staffing and Add-Ons categories.

Which pack does a janitorial company choose?+

Cleaning. The same pack serves residential and commercial work: the commercial categories, bid worksheet and contract fields are part of it. Packs are configuration and can be changed in Settings.
